To hear my cries and my laughs,
I need someone to see me,
As I really am and will be.
I need someone to hold my hand,
When it shakes so hard from the fear,
Someone to push me along,
When the plodding gets slower,
Someone to get horribly drunk with,
When there's time to celebrate,
All the little things I achieve,
We achieve and all the big ones too.
Nothing in this world is more important,
To me at this moment in time,

Means more to me than having a friend,
