You came to me,

When love and life weren't right,
When crying and depression and loneliness,
Were the only things I knew.
You showed me what life and love,
Have to offer to one who is prepared to wait,
That laughter, highs and company,
Have a place in living too.
You are kind, considerate and loving,
I know I can be the same way too.
I know I can make a person's life happy
The same way I do to you.
You've taken me in your gentle arms,
And held me close to your heart,
Shown me the satisfaction of being together,
And played with the little girl in me.
Through your desire and love, honey,
You've made me more a woman.
