As I write this letter,

I wonder why I try,
For the feeling inside,
Is much more than words.
As I write these words,
These three simple words,
I wonder if you'll understand,
What I'm really trying to say.
But these three words,
Are the only way I can express,
The deep feelings inside,
That should only be shown.
I wonder why I write,
When no words will ever be right,
To describe this emotion,
That holds me up high.
But what else can I do,
For we are miles apart,
And I can only write,
'Til we meet again.
Then I can show you what I mean,
When I say "I love you".
