Maybe my dreams could come true,
If I had some belief in the man
To come and deliver on the night
Then maybe I could find my way.
If only I could believe in the elfs
In the flying reindeers and the Christmas man,
Believed that I could have the delivery
Of things I really want to have
That on Christmas day my dreams can come true?

Maybe if I believed in good ol' Santa,
Then my face would light up
Like the lucky children the world over
As some of their dreams come true.
I want for Christmas, world peace,
A love so strong and true,
I want trust, faith and hope for all.
If only Father Chritmas was alive.
