You Don't Really Care Print E-mail

You laugh and laugh,

Then take out your cheque book,
And pledge a hundred pounds to Comic Relief.
You sing and dance,
Then pay for the entertainment,
By using your credit card,
And you think, you really care.
You shout and swear,
At experiments on animals for cosmetic care,
And you think, you really care.
But while you laugh,
Next door, an old man dies from the cold,
While you sing and dance,
A single mum borrows a pound at 500 percent,
And as you shout and swear,
A child goes to sleep, outside, in your own city,
Do you really care?
